An exhilarating and unforgettable moment!

An extensive green space on the banks of the Seine

Located on the site of the former Citroën factory, the Parc André Citroën, inaugurated in 1992, is one of the newest parks in Paris. Designed by renowned landscape architects, this huge 14 hectare public park reveals an incredible perspective on the Seine. In fact, it’s the only park in the capital to be situated directly on the river. The Parc André Citroën is divided into three themed areas; the White Garden, the Black Garden and the large central park area. Don’t miss the two monumental greenhouses where rare plants and exotic trees bloom. The park also boasts games and sports facilities for children and adults. Among the attractions offered, one in particular is a must ... the Generali Balloon!

Discover the capital from a unique vantage point!

The Generali is a tethered gas balloon, filled with 6000 m3 of helium, a completely inert gas. Since 1999, this high flying attraction has given visitors of all ages an opportunity to ascend 150 metres above the park and thrill to the unique experience of seeing the capital from on high while suspended from the largest balloon in the world. More than half a million people have been carried aloft by the Generali Balloon, which is tethered to the ground via a cable. Its capacity allows it to take about thirty people maximum, lifting them on a totally safe aerial journey without any noise or sudden movements. You can also experience this fabulous adventure on Friday and Saturday evenings from 21:00 to 23:00.
